The marble surface has a polished finish, which will serve as a protective layer against stains. All care should still be taken to avoid etching and high pigment penetration.
Avoid direct contact with liquids, foods and objects that may cause colour transfer.
Contact with substances that contain an acidic component (such as citric foods/drinks or some sticky tapes) may cause etching and should be avoided.
